Couple Recreates Scene From Boy Meets World Episode at Epcot

In the middle of all the craziness going on at Disney with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Skyliner opening to the public, the end of the 20 year run of Illumination at Epcot and everyone’s race to be the first to experience it and post it on social media, it’s a nice change of pace to see some genuine Disney romance that brings us back to a more innocent time.

Former cast member Bethany and her husband Andy have been long time Disney lovers who made the regular trip to the parks for years. When it came time for their wedding, the only natural choice was a land and sea vacation with Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World. Together for 5 years and married for 3, this summer is their first time as Annual Passholders.

When we asked her about the adorable photo they took and subsequently posted in our Annual Passholder Facebook Group, Bethany said:

“Boy meets world has always been one of my shows, and I think about the Disney episode every time I go to Epcot, so I had the idea to remake their outfits in my head for awhile and finally decided to do it on this trip.”

The photo got an overwhelming response with so much love from all the members. The post garnered over 5,000 reactions along with several comments from people just absolutely in love with it, sharing their Boy Meets World memories and even 2 people recounting the story of actually being there when the episode was being filmed. Let’s not forget the tons of women tagging their significant other to do the same photo with them.

“The Happiest Show on Earth” is the twenty-first episode of season three of Boy Meets World, and the 66th episode overall. It first aired on May 10, 1996.
Bethany and Andy took this picture at a bench in between Germany and Italy pavilions in World Showcase on Saturday, September 28th.

“My husband’s outfit was easy, he already had a yellow fishing shirt that he could wear unbuttoned with a plain white shirt under it. I got some white Jean shorts from target, a red scrunchie from Walmart, and ordered a red and white stripe shirt online! My outfit ended up being great for the parks anyway, but especially for the photo. All in all it probably took me about a week of looking for the closest shirt to hers that I could find to order!” Bethany explained.

I don’t know about you but this nostalgic post definitely brought back some feels from a time when Corey and Topanga was the relationship goals we all wanted.
